Bus connections is possible to:

České Budějovice (very good connection)
Trhové Sviny (very good connection)
Třeboň
Nové Hrady
Suchdol nad Lužnicí

Bus terminal in Borovany is situated circa 300 m from Penzion Valeš.

Railway connections:

Borovany are situated on the railway line number 199 from České Budějovice to České Valenice and than to Vídeň (Wien). In Borovany land register are on this line three stationes (Trocnov, Radostice and Hluboká u Borovan) and railway station Borovany.
Thank to this railway line there is a good railway connection from/to Borovany especially with České Budějovice
Penzion Valeš is 1500 m far from the railway-station Borovany.

Car connections

If you go from Prague, choose one of these roads:

Through Písek and České Budějovice
Through Tábor and Třeboň, when you don’t want to go through České Budějovice, becouse behind Veselí nad Lužnicí you will turn to Třeboň.

If you go from Vídeň (Wien):

Probably the best road is across the new-opened motorway from Vídeň (Wien) to Krems an der Donau and than through Zwettel and Weitra to Nové Hrady and finaly before the village Žár you mustn’t forget to turn Borovany (direction to Třeboň)
